Is this the Battlefield we have been wanting?
In 2007, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare spun the FPS gaming world upside down by creating a modern-day set shooter. This seems kind of strange considering that is all we seem to have these days. Enter Battlefield 1.
It is 2016 and EA are taking us back to WW1 in Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 comes after Battlefield 4, of course.
Things could get a little confusing if your poor old Nan is out getting you a Christmas present later this year. Bless her.
Anyway, check out the announcement trailer right freakin’ now!
First things first. It wasn’t just me who was singing Seven Nation Army out loud was it!? Haha.
This game looks absolutely brutal. Seriously. It looks to be a serious game. Unlike what we have come to expect from CoD games. It is a clear move from DICE to go in the opposite direction of Activision, who are set to release a futuristic shooter in Infinite Warfare.
“You look into the distance and see planes torn apart by gunfire, their debris raining down over London. In war-torn France to the east, horrible armored tanks tear holes in walls as they roll through crumbling cities. To the south, past the burning Italian coast, men charge over the sand dunes of the Arabian Desert, armed to the teeth with the most powerful weaponry the world has ever seen. This is what the dawn of all-out war looks like, and it’s Only in Battlefield 1.”Battlefield 1.

Are you as excited about this as much as I am? Let me know in the comments!
Battlefield 1 is releasing worldwide on October 21, 2016 for Xbox One, Origin on PC, and PlayStation 4.
